西安市清洁燃料汽车协调领导小组办公室成立于2002年，是西安发展清洁燃料汽车的组织机构——西安市清洁燃料汽车协调领导小组的办事机构，与市发改委汽车工业管理办公室合署办公，在市清洁燃料汽车协调领导小组和市发改委的直接领导下开展日常工作。主要职能有：贯彻执行国家和西安市发展清洁燃料汽车产业相关政策；组织编制并实施西安市清洁燃料汽车产业发展规划；研究制定相关标准；审批清洁燃料汽车项目等。
从2002年开始，按照国家科技部的要求，西安市清洁燃料汽车协调领导小组办公室先后组织实施了“十五”国家科技攻关计划“单一燃料CNG公交车示范工程”项目、“‘十五’国家清洁汽车重点推广应用城市”项目、“西安市深化清洁汽车重点推广应用城市研究”项目等，较好的完成了项目建设赋予的任务，使西安清洁汽车产业跨入了全国先进行列。

Xi’an Clean Fuel Vehicle Leading Group Office is set up in 2002,It is the administrative body of Xi’an Clean Fuel Vehicle Leading Group which organize Xi’an clean fuel vehicle industry development."The office " works together with the Xi’an Automobile Industry Management Office, Carry out daily work under the leadership of the Xi’an Clean Fuel Vehicle Leading Group and the Xi'an Municipal Development And Reform Commission. The main function includes: Carries out the national and Xi'an clean fuel vehicle industry related policy; Organize、establishes and implements the Xi'an clean fuel vehicle industry development plan; Research and formulation related standard; Examines and approves the clean fuel vehicle project,And so on.
Since 2002 , Xi’an Clean Fuel Vehicle Leading Group Office has organized and completed more than three National science and technology project according to The National Technical Department's request,and made Xi'an clean vehicle industry stride in national advanced ranks.
